Scholarship

1. Ch. M.S. Jaglan Memorial Topper Scholarship:

Two students each from class 1st to 9th are selected on the basis of their performance in academics throughout for the whole session. They are conferred with scholarship sponsored by Mr. Anil Jaglan in the memory of his Late father Ch. Maha Singh Jaglan.

2. Dr. Ghasi Ram Verma Mathematics Scholarship:

The scholarship funded by Mr. R.S. Arya & Mrs. Santosh Arya is the honour of renowned mathematician and philanthropist Dr. Ghansi Ram Verma, Professor Emeritus, University of Island USA. Two Students each from class 5th to 8th are selected on the basis of their performance in the written test. The test comprises of 100 multiple choice questions from the subject of mathematics and mental ability. The questions are based on the syllabus of mathematics of the previous classes. This test is generally conducted in the month of April every year. Only the bonafide students of school are eligible to appear in the test.

3. Harish Pal Memorial Science Scholarship:

Bonafide students of Secondary classes are conferred scholarship of 400/- per month respectively based on the merit of the result of a competitive examination to be held every year, one month after the SA II exam. The test will comprise of MCQ from the syllabi of the science subject of the previous classes. Amount of scholarship will be for the forthcoming session subject to the fact that the student shows keen interest and progress in studies during the next higher class.

4. "Ch. M.S. Jaglan Memorial G.K. Scholarship"

In the fond memory of Late Chaudhary Maha Singh Jaglan, a General Knowledge Test will be held on 28th October, 2018 (Sunday) in the premises of SUKH RAM MEMORIAL PUBLIC SCHOOL, KALIRAWAN (HISAR). Any student can participate in this examination after depositing the requisite fee and getting his/her name forwarded by the Principal of the school in which he/she is studying.

*Categories:

There will be three categories for this exam i.e., Primary (up to 5th Class), Middle (6th to 8th Class) and Secondary (9th and 10th Class). Three students from each category (details given below) shall be selected to get the Scholarship.

*Syllabus:

Awareness of Current & Sports Events, Knowledge of History of India, Freedom Struggle, Geography, General Science, Political Science, Civics, Economics, History of Haryana & its Rich Heritage and other miscellaneous facts. The level of General Knowledge to be tested will be according to the standard and syllabus of Primary, Middle and Secondary Classes of C.B.S.E.

*Organizing Committee

A committee, comprising of the Principal of SRMPS Kalirawan as convener and three senior teachers of Science, Maths and S.Sc. (may be from other schools and approved by the MC of MSJMGK Trophy), will be responsible for setting of question paper, conduct of written test and compilation of results.

*Medium of Examination and Design of Question Paper:

Medium of exam will be English only. The question paper will contain 100 Multiple Choice Questions of one mark each. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.

*Answer Key:

The answer key of question papers for all three categories will be uploaded on website- www.srmpskalirawan.com after the exam.

*Exam Fee:

A nominal fee of Rs. 50/- per participant will be charged. A candidate can deposit it directly in SRMPS, Kalirawan along with the exam form or can get it forwarded through the Principal of the school in which he/she is studying.

*Eligibility:

All students of the schools of the area/region can participate in this competition with its Principal's permission. Participating Schools will send the names, category and the fee to SRMPS Kalirawan latest by 22.10.2018. Students can also deposit Entry Form (Annexure C) directly to SRMPS, Kalirawan with the requisite fee.

*Date/Timings/Venue of Examination:

Exam will be held on 28th October, 2018 (Sunday), from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the premises of SRMPS, Kalirawan. The participants must reach the venue half an hour earlier by 9:30 a.m. and must bring their I-cards (issued by school) for identification.
